Meso & PRP Body

Face mesotherapy with the method of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is an anti-aging treatment that uses growth factors produced by activated platelets. It is also called autologous mesotherapy, because the platelet-rich plasma is derived by the patient’s own body, and thus poses no danger of allergy, hypersensitivity or foreign-body reactions.
In order to proceed to PRP autologous face mesotherapy, a small volume of blood (5-15 ml) has to be collected from the patient. The withdrawn blood is centrifuged so as the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is isolated. An activating agent such as a solution of nucleotides (PRP with DNA activator), and calcium ions (e.g., calcium chloride) is then added to the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to activate platelets and release their content prior to use. The activated platelets produce growth factors, which detect and repair any tissue damage of the epidermis.
Growth factors are proteins with regeneration, wound-healing and reconstructing properties that are produced by specific cells in our body. These growth factors stimulate proliferation of fibroblasts and keratinocytes which produce collagen and elastin. They enhance the repair of damaged tissue, attract undifferentiated stem cells into the newly formed matrix and trigger cell division.
Finally, the platelet-rich plasma is infused to skin areas requiring regeneration. Improvements on skin texture and tone can be noticeable within a couple of weeks following the first session, and the face looks younger and radiant.
